The game doesn't even start

Hi, 'm trying to play Isaac and it's impossible for me to even open the game. I click on Start Game and the process looks as normal as always, but suddenly the game stops, without even showing any window. I have already uninstall and re-install the game, updated the drivers of my GPU, and uninstall my mods (only item descriptions), and all ended up dead ends.

try to copy the Lua5.3.3f.dll inside the Game folder and rename the copy to Lua5.3.3r.dll, game has started after i have done that.

This was a bold choice that they made: they thought it would be more fun if you couldn't play the game that you bought.

with this trick the game at least opened a window when launching, but then crashes after the intro

i am having a similar problem so i bought the bundle that comes with the afterbirth and afterbirth+ stuff but when i try to boot up the game it opens a window but its just blank and then it closes

it works if i turn off the afterbirth+ but i've started a whole new discussion for this problem

I have the same problem, but I solved it by disabling dlc and then the game at least started to launch

I solved the problem by reinstalling the game and updating my windows updates, hope that will help

I did that, it worked... and I need to have the game? (I already bought it, but that puts in the screen)

i cant find the Lua5.3.3r.dll file, is there any other way to fix the game?
