This player is a time wizard.
But in all seriousness, a possible solution could be to use the Remote Play feature and have someone good enough and kind enough to run through Hush with you a few times.
The early game needs a serious re-assessing of content, there's too much grinding that compounds. It takes way too much grinding to get to the chest and the dark room. It's especially strange since you can beat Hush after beating Mom's Heart 10 times, and Hush both unlocks the alt path while also being harder IMO than both ??? and The Lamb.
I think they should lock The Corpse behind The Chest/The Dark Room/Hush/Delirium and let you use the alt floors earlier in a save file.
Can confirm; am time wizard. In all seriousness though, as mentioned later, I hit 360 and shelved the game for a good damn while. Hence, been at 360 for a while. Oh, also, my internet is ass. Upload speed can't handle Remote Play.
Tbh that's fine. I played Antibirth for a good while, so I'm used to a couple of those requirements, and I'm used to Antibirth's difficulty. I just really don't like the time rush required to beat the Hush in combination with the newfound difficulty that comes with even base Repentance.
After having had 100% of achievements.
And didn't play for a while.
I tell you things are more terrible then before.
That Mother is no MoM
and those new passageways, why not aim for Gnawed Leaf + Daddy longlegs instead of all that trouble.
But I tell you.
Delirium felt easier as I encountered it first.
I'm less far then other people who seem to have played less.
But this game is just not the same.
And Hush , should and would still be something else, then this new area , which allows for at least +5 minutes for a bossrush.....
Consider it, if you've got 10 minutes between Bossrush and Hush, and it was often possible to manage both and after that Aim for Delirium, like that was a qualifier to be able to.
If you can't beat hush I wonder how many attempts you need for that thing, besides the paths....
and if it's a onetrickwonder on each character or a struggle that looks for its equal....
30 minutes to and past "It Lives" should be within Reach, and if you've had done that already, you'd have that alpaths already unlocked like I did.
I've done this already, yes. But the game requires you to beat Hush *three times* before you can have the alt paths open. If it were once, there wouldn't really be an issue, 'cause I've done it before and wouldn't have to care about the Hush anymore.
Ha, if you've got the Lost and Keeper unlocks on hardmode, you're probably a fair bit better than me regardless. Thanks for the advice, though!
And btw.
I've gotten the Achievement you refer to, as I've cleared 3 times the Alt path in Dross or Downpour.
Edit : (Why does Dross or Downpour not equal ??? in that regard, as you might not even know the name of the area.)
(I delete the prior post.)

Not sure what's going with you, but uh, yeah. You definitely do have to do that.
Before I look at it: That's my experience from playing.
And as mentioned with prior 100% unlocks I've done that.
And I've had the door to Dross right from the "get go".
No arguement.
Is it a fault of coding ? or a benefit of 100% prior to it.
I'm the issue not the game....
