Rotten hearts causing consfusing situations

So Issac has always been a game where you can never ever lose more than one heart on any hit, if you have half a soul heart you don't take red heart damage from a full heart attack, but now when I'm taking hits with rotten hearts I'm losing two hearts at a time.

I like that rotten hearts are inverse bone hearts being only ever taking one hit but once you get far enough you are losing two hearts per hit which just feels bad.

Would be nice if there was a more clear indicator that you have less hearts than it looks like with rotten hearts, Just insta died to the blood door thinking "got two hearts, this will be fine"
