Even though I love Brimstone with all of my soul, I'm saying Magic Mushroom. There are many ways to get it, the 1.5x damage multiplier is great (even if it does make Cricket's Head a bit worse since the multipliers don't stack) and it gives a bonus in every other stat except for tear rate, and that helps a lot.

Im terms of just the "best" item in general? The Stopwatch. It's pretty much a guaranteed win if you pick it up.

Best is tough to say. I could see a good argument for Rubber Cement as much as one for Godhead. It all depends on what items you have picked up. As for personal fav... probably Tech.5.

Mom's Knife I guess, it's always good, even with default stats.
