Easy Lord of the flies achievement ?

Hello everyone
I'm sort of a completionist and i'm strugling to get the Lord of the flies achievement... Guppy is easy with devil rooms containing lots of cat items, but i can't get more than 2 fly items. As i've unlocked many items, do you think that it'll be easier to start on a new slot, the proportion of fly items might be higher, right ?
If not, do you have tips, other than try and try and try AGAIN ? ^^

There's no easy way to get Lord of the Flies.
It's completely RnG, and even then you'd rather have Guppy, which usually can be achieved by skill, or pure luck.

I got mine by pure sheer luck afer using a dice room.

It's all luck, you either get it or you don't.

Yes, but mathematically, new save slot = smaller item pool = higher chance to get fly items, right ?

Yes, but it's still completely RNG, plus if you're a completionist you'll want to do it on your profile where you got all the other stuff anyway and just hope RNGesus is kind, since you do need Lord of the Flies on the same profile as everything else to get the platinum god achievements.

Ooh ♥♥♥♥, didn't know that Lord of the Flies was needed for platinum god as it's not an item... thanks for telling me. I'll just keep trying then

Every last thing is required for platinum god. Lord of the flies, all the items, all the challenges, meat boy, and bandage girl are all required.

Good luck getting it. You'll surely need it.

If you have 2 items and lots of money try playing the 3 skull guy in the arcade he will always give you skatole which is a fly item.
Also playing D4, D100 will assure you or near lord of the fly since it keeps in memory transformation items. Same logic apply on dice rooms 1 and 6.

If you have unlocked the D6, then start doing normal isaac runs, keep re-rolling items until you get all 3 fly themed ones (there's plenty)

when you can - try to get a payout from those key beggers. There are 5 different fly items he can give you

Arcade rooms for Skatole, shops for hive mind, etc.

Or just play with the D4 and reroll every time you can, you'll get lord of the flies in no time.
