Magic Mushroom in a normal room?!?!?!

I just found a room in the Dephts 1. It had no enemies in it. There was one of these stones in the middle that draged you into it. In each of the corners were a consumable like a chest a penny etc. surroundet by 2 spikes. But in one corner there was the mighty Magic Mushroom.
I have never seen something like that. So does anyybody know if this could come from a mod that i didnt deinstall correctly?

It's extremely rare, but some rooms do have a small chance to spawn an item pedastal. I've seen the variant you mentioned a couple times, so it's not just your game.

Nope, the room you describe has a % chance of what it will spawn in the corners.
, etc. are common but sometimes you can get an item.

There are several rooms in the game that can have an item sitting in it. the trolliest one is the one in the basement without enemies, an item pedastal in the middle, and like 20 unbreakable blocks surrounding it. I've had proptosis spawn there once...

Or sometimes a bug makes that when you enter a room, 1 or more rocks suddenly break.
There might have been a mushroom there, which gave you the magic mush.
