The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

Unlocking Samson
I'm trying to unlock Samson, the only character that I have to unlock, that can be unlocked for now (the others being Blue Baby and the secret character (I'm not spoiling it for people new to Rebirth) and I can't seem to do it no matter what I do. Is there a character I should use? Could someone please help me?

I reccomend using judas. For me when I play judas im always extra careful with health due to him onlyhaving one heart, and because his extra damage can get the job done quick.

Judas or Azazel because DAMAGE

Using Azazel would be the best bet imo, his ability to fly, fast speed, and high damage output can make getting through the basement without taking damage quite easy
You guys do realize Azazel is a horrible beginner character right

Yeah. His high damage fools people but it is quite easy to accidently kill an exploding enemy just a bit too close.
Also you don't really learn much from his gameplay.

I'm going to go with Judas, because I'm the most cautious when I have low HP and end up being better. And he also starts with the Book of Belial so that would help with bosses as well. Yesterday I almost had Samson unlocked, but then one rogue bullet came from nowhere on the boss fight against Dingle and messed everything up, yet it still became one of my best runs and I ended up unlocking Ipecac and another piece of the Negative (making it my third). Anyways thanks for the help everyone.

Book of Revalations saved me, cause i only had to fight horsemen. This is the secret to unlocking Samson.

Oh and I got Super Bandage Girl even though I don`t deserve it lol

As has been said, you'll want to go for a glass cannon character: their fragility won't be a issue when you're trying to avoid taking damage and their high damage allows you to plow through baddies ASAP.

I find that Azazel is the best for a no-damage run, though you'll quickly learn to hate certain enemies, particarly ones that explode on death since the explosion radius is only slightly shorter than your laser's range.

Judas is also great if you want to play safer, plus his active is great at bursting down bosses ASAP.

Eve can also work: you can exploit her ♥♥♥♥♥ of Babylon item by activating it on the first floor, and then spend the next two floors trying to get the achievement with the huge damage and speed buffs.
