Alright, not a fan of eve but i'll try. Another question. I've seen people say to hurt yourself at the beginning of the game to get her damage boost, Is that really worth it?

Azazel is NOT a good beginner character.
He is too different from the other characters and takes all the challenge out of the game.
Play as Judas. He will teach you how to dodge because of his low health while dealing massive damage.
Also the Book of Belial is awesome. Play as him. :reheart:

If you want to shoot 5 minutes at a fly to kill it, you don't have to damage yourself...

I assume you are talking about Samson right? He starts with Blood Lust which is an item that increases your damgor the current floor each time you take damage. (6 times max).

to be honest dude you can get good at dodging with any character. you just have to play the game a lot and learn how to not get hit. its that simple. i understand if you are a begginer but in all honesty the best way to get better at dodging is to just play every character and larn how they work

Leaning enemy patterns is the key to learning how to dodge. Think of it as becoming proactive instead of reactive. Pretty much every normal enemy has a pattern. Once you have that down, the dodging becomes so much easier.
Samson, you get stronger the more you get hit on a floor.
