Music in cellar and general game-flow question

Is the music in the cellar supposed to sound like two seperate songs completely mismatched and playing over one-another? it's terrible and my ears are crying.

and question two: I've got about 15 hours in i think, beaten mom a few times and moms heart once (with magdalene). Is there some specific path i should go from here, or just keep beating it with random characters til i unlock every item etc...

1. No, look up the cellar music on youtube and if it sounds different, your game is glitched.

2. There's far, far more after the heart, 2 seperate paths and 4 more bosses. It's best to play different characters so you are consistently unlocking stuff, yes.

Ok i looked up that track and my game is normal. That theme just does bad things to my ear :( I love all the other music but have to shut it off for cellar.

Sorry to hear that, it's one of my favorite tracks, personally, but fair enough.
