Spoon Bender Question

If you have an item that already gives you homing (like Godhead), does picking up Spoon Bender allow your tears to curve more sharply or does it not do anything at all?

Picking up spoon bender when you already have say godhead or sacred heart does not allow your tears to move more sharply, although i must say i think sacred heart and godheads homing is much better than spoonbender.
