Repentance Crashing after cut-scene

I know this sounds weirdly specific but honest to god my game consistently crashes after a cut-scene. This hasn't really been an issue for me so far as the file would save the progress and would remember me defeating Mega Satan for instance.

The reason I am making this discussion is because I literally cannot get past dogma, after defeating him it plays a cut-scene... I literally cannot end my current run or even attempt the beast.

I have uninstalled all the mods I've got
I have updated my video drivers
I have verified the game integrity

Not sure what more I could be doing. Any help would be super appreciated.

Yeah man, chuck the game onto your ssd. That fixed it for me :)
