J&E issue:
My Esau has no red health rn and can't take devil deals because of it. Is this a bug? Why can't Esau take the deal? (I have enough health to take the deal with soul hearts)

would it leave him with no hearts if he takes the devil deal? i believe a change was made so that if you would be unable to take devil deals if it would take all of your hearts... even if the item itself would give you some in return.

No, I don't think so. Esau had like 7 soul hearts and the deal was worth 2 red hearts. Maybe the amount transferred from red hearts to soul heart was over or at the limit of 7?

No, I don't think so. Esau had like 7 soul hearts and the deal was worth 2 red hearts. Maybe the amount transferred from red hearts to soul heart was over or at the limit of 7?
Maybe you have to use specifically red hearts for it? I think that the deal price was chosen based on Jacob's health (i assume he had plenty of red hearts).

I guess it looks at your health and turns it into the corresponding soul heart amount on entry.
But Jacob & Esau are two characters, and apparently it only looks at Jacob…. Looks like an oversight.

Bruh I feel like this character gets worse the more I play him. At least I completed all his unlocks ;)))))))

If I entered the room as Esau, I probably would have gotten the deal.
