Why update Lazarus' art in the loading screen but not in-game?

I don't get it. That boy ugly as ♥♥♥♥. He needs an update. Tainted Lazarus looks fresh but he's terrible.

they probs forgot he exists seeing as how everyone got a hair update except him, there's like two people in the entire world who even remember lazarus is in the game and that's us

jokes aside though when mod support is a thing ill probably just replace laz's sprite with his first tainted form sprite if they dont change it themselves

Can't wait for mods. Ed just keeps doing Lazarus dirty, it's not fair. Tainted Lazarus needs a straight up rework.

iirc he's already been confirmed to be getting one, and there's an update soon, so who knows, maybe it'll come sooner rather than later. i cant believe they made him with absolutely zero upsides at all and called it a day though, especially disappointing when you look at the crazy things they did for other tainted characters

I believe one of the devs said that tainted lazarus was unfinished in the discord server (which im not in) im pretty sure they post there a decent amount if you're looking for updates

Lazarus' entire shtick is dying, and he's not even fragile enough to do so easily. Logic checks out.

I remember Lazarus entirely because I needed him for Bethany. The worst part is, to unlock her, I needed to avoid his gimmick, thus making him a very white bread character.

Now that my new BFF Bethany is here, Lazarus can go into the pile of characters I never touch
