Tainted characters doesn't show up

So I unlocked tainted chain and wanted to play with him but the button that changes the normal Characters to the tainted version is now gone.Can anyone help me?

The button doesn't show up where you can change the Characters and i don't have any mods. And no i don't have t-Isaac

Wait do I need to unlock T-Isacc for the button to unlock?

Don't listen to him, you don't need to unlock T characters in a special order. I unlocked T Bethany first and the game gave me properly the switch button on the character screen.

I tried to unlock lilith and samson T- version but i didn't get the characters?
