Regarding Co-op progress

Hello, so I want a friend to start playing the game but I'd like to know if the charachters progression marks get a mark when you beat a run on his solo "who am I page". like if we beat mom's heart on hard mode, will he get the mark there too?
I know unlocks work in co op so it should..

Yes, you can get solo unlocks and completion marks by playing online.

It's worth noting that you won't see items and floors that all players in the lobby haven't unlocked yet, though. You'll basically be going through their progression with them. Like if one player in the lobby hasn't played the game before, the run will end at depths 2 because they haven't unlocked the womb yet.
