Wrong, you can still do it legit. You have more marks to do so it's longer but it's still doable

it's weird seeing threads about unlocking godhead, cant believe its been nearly 7 years already. I also like how the requirement keeps getting worse for a now nerfed item.

agrred, that's exactly waht I did. not going through the tedium of unlocking everything, I got better things to do with my life.

You better say that you're a noob instead of saying that.
Because I unlocked godhead as it should be in AB+ which was extremely easy to break The Lost with devil deals.
And even in Repentance I cleared the new marks using The Lost without cheesing the game playing normally.

Worth mentioning that the usual recommendation to have the easiest time is to do it in AB instead of AB+, because taking Delirium out of the picture makes it significantly more skill-based (Hush can drop enough Blue Gapers to be one of the few actual DPS checks in the game).

unlocked it yesterday, get a good combination of one or two active items and luck based tear effects and you are good to go

it is actually fairly easy if you wish to spam R key like... a lot
