Here are my tips:
1. When Mother starts attacking with one of the hands in the first stage (knife or waves of tears), go in the opposite direction. This way it will be easier to dodge the attack.
2. When you finish the first stage, go to the right or left, to dodge a huge vertical brimstone beam in the middle of the room.
3. In the second stage if Mother starts sucking up tears from outside, start walking around her. Continue doing so while she spits the ball, so the ball would be on the other side of the Mother. For me it's the best way to dodge this attack, that otherwise can be difficult to evade.
4. When Mother dissapears to charge you, you will see splashes in up-right or up-left of the room. It shows what side she will charge you through, so you can run to the opposite side. After the first charge just quickly run to the other side to dodge the second charge. After that don't stand in the middle, there she will land with a splash damage.
5. When she starts shooting waves of tears, go into the farthest from her corner of the room (that you can reach without taking damage). This will get you more space to dodge this bullet hell. It still will be hard to dodge consistently, but much more manageable.
I still struggle a bit with her first stage, especially with Fistula attack. But if you have good DPS you should quickly get her to the second stage, that I consider more predictable.
I learned this cause I've started playing repentance as og lost and realized that its harder (the game is still more than breakable). Still have to beat alt path as the lost, lol
