How to cheese greed donation machine with Glowing Hourglass ?

So i just started a Eden Greed mode and started with Glowing Hourglass. I've red a lot about how you can cheese the donation machine with it, how exactly would i go about it ?

Buy any battery related items you see in the shops, then defeat Greed, donate as much as you can, use the Hourglass to rewind time, donate again. Repeat.

A Chaos Card is helpful as well to speed up the Ultra Greed fight.

How I did it : you need :
- At least 1 coin
- Glowing Hour Glass (charged)
- Chaos card

How to get that : break the game :
- Reset (with Isaac) until you get Scapular in the item room (the gold one, I think you can't get it in the white one)
- Try to find Habit
- Use the Curse room by entering and leaving to charge the D6 and reset the shop's items until finding the Glowing Hour Glass
- Find an item that will get you Chaos card (7 sins book, Piggy Bank to buy infinite cards, the D20, etc)

When you're in the room before greed :
-Enter
-Use chaos card
-Donate 1 coin
-User hourglass
-Do it again (coin and card are given back to you)

Are we sure this still works outside of Eden? I tried to break the game today, I did not come across glowing hour glass in hundreds of rerolls

I prefer to use Cain:
- reset until d20
- find a floor with a battery at the shop (or reroll the shop)
- stack up all the coins from the waves
- d20
- ???
- profit

the idea is to spawn enough pickups using d20 and opening chest for free thanks to the paper clip (you can also reroll opened chest, charge d20 before opening), pick enough money to buy a battery and reroll the rest, save 2 of diamond and chaos card in another room and a few spacebar item so you can swap with other ones, at some point you can just pick all the coins (maybe use a penny trinket if you find one, you can drop the paper clip as soon as you get a golden key, or just store / swap trinkets in another room) and start buying at the shop, you'll eventualy find d6, blank card, habit, battery items which will help a lot then you can buy all the items you see, use d6 or pethro / dice shard when you have a lot of items stacked and dont wanna buy what's in the shop, once you have a good build and the glowing hourglass just pick your chaos card and go to ultra greed, gg easy

why this method over classic isaac d6 ? because all you need to be able to make it work is the d20, and it's not too long to reset until you get it in the shop

Im pretty sure you need chaos to get the glowing hour glass to spawn in greed mode, ive never seen it without it.

I've been buying Breakfast for over an hour now. Occasionally there is an item other than Breakfast, but I haven't found the Glowing Hourglass yet.

I also had chaos, I rerolled through so much breakfast I eventually gave up and finish the run (donated 25 cents, hurray)
I had around 200 passive items in the "my stuff" tab, I also did not see Godhead

You really don't need it anymore now because doing it the hourglass way and doing it the "normal" way takes about the same amount of time now, seeing as they updated the Greed donation machine.

I dont think this exploit is necessary any more imo, I just did a run earlier and donated 90 coins with no jam and was only at 3% when they were all donated

I've broken the game with the blank card + 2 of diamond card method in greed mode, i've bought mostly every item the shop has to offer, and now i've been only getting breakfast and i have not seen a single glowing hour glass once, please help and is finding a glowing hour glass even still possible in my given situation?
