Kamikaze got buffed?

I grabbed it as Azazel and decided to blow myself up to suicide to restart the run...

Only to find out that the explosions didn't damage him whatsoever.

Has this happened to anyone else or is it a bug?

Did you have the Host? While it looks and feels worthless, it actually makes you immune to explosion damage.

i had an eden run that started with it. Got sad bombs, the kamikaze synergized perfectly. And with the not damaging myself thing, kamikaze is boss!!

Maybe they changed it so you don't require another item to use it without hurting yourself anymore.

It was horrible before, as you wouldn't ever want to use it by itself (this at least turns it into a weapon I won't just ignore all the time then).

I wouldn't even be upset if it had one regenerating charge like the bean or something. if that's how it works now it seems like it could even be considered a really good item

i think its broken they were messing around with the blue bomber challenge balancing so they probably broke it
