Greed Mode Secret Room?

So, I was playing as Az in Greed mode, mostly to see what the big fuss was about with him, which to get out of the way first and foremost, it was a bit hard to get used to, but I did well. 5 times I managed to get to Ultra Greed. Didn't beat him at all mind you, mostly because I kept panicking over being swarmed so easily, but it wasn't impossible to get to him, thanks to his standard brimstone having a buff making the range ups actually increase his laser's size. His starting damage is abit jarring, but I could manage it well enough and get some items to remedy that quickly.

But back to this topic, on one run I got a bomb and went to the store. After finding nothing of use, I tried to switch items with the restock machine thing. I accidentally nudged it well away from it, but I actually managed to get to a secret room. I was curious after this and restarted several times. I found that the secret room would be in the same place every time. When I tested it with other characters, though, it wasn't there. I find it odd that Az seems to have an excuslive secret room. Anyone else find this a bit odd?

It appears randomly for me, not only on Azazel. Be careful with that though, I've encountered secret rooms there that have no exit, which means you are forced to restart.
