Spamming R is for people who are scared to see a negative number on their current streak. Just man up and play with what you have because you never know what the later item rooms will hold. Some of my best and most fun runs came from a really bad floor one item. Actually, I discovered how OP Tiny Planet can be by sticking it through when I picked it up on the first item room, then Brimstone shortly after.

it's not because of the spiders in the cellar instead, it's always been for one reason and only one reason, indication of low luck run.

Note that the actual unlock only happens on the 4th step of the unlock process, which must be done without a seed.
So overall, it is true and also applies to the Lost unlock (pure Rebirth method, no expansion installed).

the seed starts with a planeterium and a mutant spider in the planeterium theres mars the room before the shop has a tinted rock and you have to place a bomb next to it cuz it will give ypu a damadge up speed down item and a trapdoor in there there will be an item that will come in handy before the boss room you wont have a key so the room with a tnt barrel YOU MUST USE IT ON THE CARD since the pill is a range down and the card is the stars so get the tresure item done then you can enter the planeterium because there will be 0 keys spawning and the 2 enemys before the boss room one of then drops a speed up pill and the boss is a damage up and the second floor you must keep the 100% devil deal cuz when you finish the boss the devil deal has 2 black hearts and after that you chose what to do
