Possibly found a fix for mac lags, need some help though

So i've been experiencing lag on the fire and water floors, aswell as whenever i use a pill, card etc.

I read up online for fixes and somebody on reddit suggested:

"I have an update, actually. Apparently you can go into documents, my games, binding of isaac: afterbirth, and open the options settings. Then, turn MaxRenderScale's value to 1 and VSync's value to 0."

I'm on a mac and cant find this settings option, any help?

I don't have a Mac, so this may not work, but search for options.ini. In there, you can change the maxrenderscale

Yeah i tried that, can't find it. Really would be nice tho :s

Search deeper, i don't know where it is on mac, but i know were it is on linux.

it's in the library of the computer : after you go to application support then binding of isaac rebirth

go to your library, go to app support and type in binding of isaac rebirth, open the folder and drag the options.ini file into text edit, then just edit it.

i know that i'm late.
But for people like me that have the same issue:
In Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder.
In the Go To Folder dialog box, type ~/Library.
In the Application support folder you can find the isaac folder.
