Does anyone know how to beat greed mode with azazel

ive been trying to beat it with my characters but since it takes so long for azazels beam to charge i cant seem to beat it does anyone have any tips or easy ways to beat it.

Play a bit more smartly, instead of "FACEROLL EVERYTHING".

Dodge, and time your shots, make them count.

azazel was the first dude I cleared greed mode with. I got tammy's head early on, it makes a giant ring of blood destruction around him that kills almost everything in 1 hit, even bosses, and it recharges after every wave. and I had the nun habit so it would recharge if I got hit.

I just lucked out with getting the ludovico technique...

Honestly though, I always hated Azazel even before the nerf. The short range always ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over more than the high damage helped me.

Well...for me,I just shoot him whenever he stomps and creates greed heads or when he is deciding which type of coin to use (I'm not sure how to describe it) since he doesn't move.

Also,Ultra Greed health scales with your damage,so damage may not help much. It does help you kills the greed heads/gapers he spawns though.

Other than that,try to watch out for what he is doing. If he charges at you,move out of the way quickly and prepared to dodge incase he decides to charges again.
He can shoots coins at you very quickly and you may not react fast enough,so I suggest you don't stay too close too him so you can have more time to react. If you're lucky,his coins may barely graze you like me. They seem to have weird hitboxes though since there're many times where his coins touch my head/feet but I didn't received damage.

Personally,my strategy can be described as "Dodge-and-Shoot" strategy,where I dodge his attacks and only hits him with my mini-brimstone when I'm sure that I won't receive damage doing so.

Yup.His health scales with your DPS.

Well...depending on your damage,he may have as much health as Mega Satan, or more if you're very powerful.

Wait about a couple days for Azazel to be fixed. In the last patch they accidentally over-nerfed him and now his dmg and charge speed are trash. They are increasing his dmg when the patch comes.

If all else fails: Gnawed leaf and anything that allows you to deal damage while standing still (cube of meat, attack flies, ludovico, ...)

2) Seeds prevent unlocks.
