tiny planet you could get a feel for where your shot is going to hit behind you eventually even if it would still be a huge pain, but yeah the parasite that'd be time to GG and start over.

I believe Piercing Shots actually got a buff, I picked up Death's Touch and as long as the tear pierced an enemy at least once mid-flight I didn't take damage when it fell to the ground.

the real question to me though is do you get damage for each shot that parasite splits into, or only one per parent tear.

I got the dunce cap after I had 7 soul hearts. The run was ruined because it spit my shots and they got me killed.

Explosivo, if that's the name. The one where your shots turn into sticky bombs.

If a sticky bomb hits an enemy and then the enemy is killed by another shot - you take damage.
If a sticky bomb hits an enemy and then the enemy jumps or teleports away - you take damage.

I don't know why they let you pick up these run-wrecking items if they, well, wreck the run. Especially since things like Dunce Cap and Explosivo are new, so people weren't likely to recognize them.

Becoming Guppy also killed me on my first attempt (in combination with demon baby) stuff died the second before my tears hit. Be wary of any familiers or anything that can kill enemies before you do.
