Isaac and "homosexuality"?

I swear I'm not trolling but with new added scenes i question it more, in Christianity being "gay" (using slag, i know gay actually means "happy) isn't a good thing, basically totally against it.

Yes Isaac is still a child I understand that at the most part, possible doesn't understand yet or maybe its his way to express his self just not sure.

wondering why made this thread well in one scene he got Maggy's wig and liked it, but he got laughed at, in afterbirth he put a dress on and got laughed at.

now we got two characters Isaac played as in Rebirth, in After birth we got three. Eve, Magdalene and Lilith. (Eden I'm not sure)

Just wondering what people think, I'll be flamed for this, but i have open mind i was huge believer for long time, but felt Bible just wasn't answering questions i wanted went more different direction in life.

I think he dresses as different people to represent his personality, for example maybe Azazel represents the evil in him?

The game is far more abstract than what it shows, I'd go as far as to say the Christian references are tangential at best if the "official story" (or at least the interpretation that got Mcmillen's blessing) is all there's to it, closer to a setting gimmick than something with actual meaning to the plot or the game.

Besides, there's an important difference between homosexuality and dressing in drag. Neither one necessitates the other.

theres no offical story per se

but theres is symbolism for each of the final boss fights and endings that relate to isaacs fate. the game theorists did a video on this in which edmund said they were very close to his intended ideas for the game.

one idea they theorised is that maggy is isaacs sister who died and isaac dresses up as maggy because he misses his sister and wants to replace her

My meta-game reason was that it's a magic artifact, and you need to wear it to get its effects. Similarly different starter headgear give him different "personalities". He wears them because it's not like isaac has any pockets on him.

I don't think Isaac is dealing with homosexuality as much as it is with identity, even in regards to Maggy. His father is never seen and he's extremely young, certainly you can be gay at this age, though I don't think many know it. It seems more like he's just playing and doesn't know any better, at least to me. There are certainly arguments against this, but from perspective I don't think this was specifically the intent.

Welp, I just feel like, imo, if it was the case of me needing to try /convert/ others, I would do it irl, with someone i knew, rather than on the INTERNETZZ, since I know how annoying it is finding people saying " ♥♥♥ to me church or ye hell ".
Not like I don't care for me religion, but i have a standard of not being annoying about religion on internet.

And the Bible itself really should be a guide for somethings, not all, that isn't nintendo power for life, or whatever magazine you find helpful in games.

A lot of things in the game are just representative of things that a child experiences, be it video games and internet memes or dressing up like a girl and stuff. A lot of children try to dress up like a girl at some point, that doesn't make them gay or transgender.
