Curse rooms kind of suck now..

I'm enjoying the DLC, but I have to say I'm disappointed in the new curse rooms. Since sacrifice rooms are still completely useless, at least curse rooms used to have a much higher chance of having red chests/devil pool items, which are very good and worth the risk of losing health to enter. I liked that aspect of risk vs reward. But now I'm hardly ever getting chests or items, just buttons and made a bomb or two, so I don't find it worth it to even enter

I dunno, maybe I'm just having awful luck. How do you guys feel?
