Nah, Im fine with all of them lol
Because of that it should really be rebalanced
For the Speed! Challenge it would just be logical to adjust ones speeds as well
while for the Guardian Challenge RNG should not make the protege die instantly, either adjust the AI to actually avoid hazards or give it actually some invincibility frames at least.
I wish I was joking.
...I killed Hush. I regret everything.
I just don't understand how easier challenges like " have a heart " just ends at mom's heart, whereas this unfair thing wants your to beat the chest ! Seems kinda unbalanced to me.
Anyway i wouldn't be complaining about this if it wasn't for the fact that the brains just don't work like they should. Not only is it a pain in the ass that they take forever to reappear ( making you defenseless ) but even if you have your 3 brains ready to shoot, they just refuse to do so. When you enter a room, you want to use them as quick as possible to kill the ennemies before they get to you, but you can't even do that, because when you enter a room, you gotta wait for like 2 whole seconds before this things decide to react ! And it's the same thing when they reappear : you see the sprite reappearing at isaac's side, but it just won't launch right away, of course, i guess he's just waiting to get damaged before deciding to do something.
I got to the chest with full health, and got gangraped, because this weaponry is complete, garbage. I have nothing against challenge, i've beaten every other challenge in the list, but those stupid brains' fire delay need to be fixed.
just get a good carry item at the begining (reroll until you get one) i was basically caried by tech .5
guardian is all about damage and speed ups... leav rooms with spikes asap (always had a teleport somewhere card with me in case the little brat was about to walk into spikes)
It took me 120 minutes to finish this challenge mostly due to waiting for the brains to respawn.
EDMUND! MAKE SATAN VUNERABLE TO ISIS MEMEBERS!
Brains just strikes me as the new "Beans." Tedious, long, and based around frustrating weaponry. I'd say it definitely fits the definition of a challenge.
I think the only challenge that really need rebalancing is the Blue Bomber- It s surprisingly easy to end up with impossible room configurations before the boss door, ending the run. On my winning run, I got stuck, but was lucky enough to get a Dice room, reroll the floor, and finish it out. But that was 100% luck, which is no good.
I've only attempted Guardian once or twice, but having a suicidal buddy to protect is pretty rough. lol
It isn't easy, yeah. The main problem I have with that challenge is that some enemies are simply impossible to evade (e.g. almost every enemy that follows you since they are faster than you) unless you do so ridiculously much damage that everything dies in a split second. That's not really a challenge, it's just unnecessarily frustrating and luck based.
To give a good example. I was doing pretty good damage with Dr. Fetus, but then I entered a room with a lot of holes and some of these resurrecting enemies that follow you (no idea how they're called). Since I had quite a lot of shot speed I missed my first shot and then I got stuck inbetween three of those guys. You can guess how that ended for me.
