Lilith + infestation 2 is bugged?

so i just played a lilith, and had a super OP run, easily did boss rush, with 30 familiars at the end, and got infestation 2 for completing boss rush.
After i proceded to the womb i lost all my familiars except for the battery one. i lost my incubus, lil brimstone, lil gish and brother bobby.
i only had the battery following me, and no way to do damage.

does infestation 2 break lilith?

It's not infestation, it's the huge number of familiars. Just save and quit, and then continue and you'll have your familiars back.

They will be randomly arranged though.
