Box of friends charges two times in one room?

As you may know lilith possesses the Box of Friend which allows her to duplicate the follower she has. This item is a 2 charge item. But for some reason when i clear a single room with it it charges completely and i can use it on the next room.

Is there some people who knows who this work, or is it just a bug/random?

the big rooms, which are sized 4to1 if compare with usual ones are count as 2 rooms, so it restores 2 charges
