Permanent R U A WIZARD tears?

Encountered something strange during a runthrough of challenge 21. All of a sudden, my tears are permanently firing at a 45 degree angle, and Isaac seems to have grown a pair of faces on his cheeks. I don't recall picking up anything that would do this, so what happened? Is this a transformation?

No, I didn't. Went through my inventory and realized I had picked up Steven, Abel and Fate, so maybe it's a transformation related to heads?

Nope, happened to me too, immediately after bloodclot on the daily today. Also looking at the scores on the leaderboard I'm already questioning the integrity of their ability to keep cheaters from gaming it.

I'll conceed that some high scores could be them 'breaking the game' but doing that on a challenge?

looking at the wiki the 2 faces is a transformation caused by (medical items) like phd and chem peel but afterbirth has been out for only a day so who knows what else triggers it

could be the dunce cap, but that gives you dual shot at the same time, so 45° up and down tears at the same time

Happened to me as Lilith after collecting a bunch of babies. I had the face tumors things and the 45° shot. Also I started getting new babies out of nowhere. A couple rooms later I realized I had a Dark Bum that I never picked up and a few floors after that little Brimstone showed up out of nowhere. Thoses where not temporary.

No idea if this is how it is supposed to work. Its too soon to know exactly what the new transformations do.

Tumors is apparently a transformation independent of Lilith. What you were observing with Dark Bum and Lil' Brimstone is Cambion Conception, where taking enough damage spawns a permanent familiar.
