The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

Screen tearing?
I am experiencing screen tearing while playing. its not horrible, but its noticeable enough for me to care. It mainly happens on the title screen and when I'm moving horizontally. I looked it up and honestly I didn't find that much.

I've tried changing the vsync option to 0 in the config, and I've turned it on via nvidia control panel, but the tearing is still there, can anything be done about it?

I have the same problem as well if your playing on laptop then your in the same boat as me. The only way I've found to sort it out is using the integrated graphics card

An easy way around this is to let Windows smooth the game for you with Aero.
All you have to do is play in windowed mode, the operating system will act like you're still looking at your desktop and prevent tearing.

So to do this: C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+
Open the file Options.ini

Fullscreen = 0
WindowWidth = Your Resoution here
WindowHeight = Your Resolution here

Now launch the game and see how it looks. If it's too big, scale the width/height accordingly.

Best place to instantly test screen tearing is Greed mode, due to the length of the room.

I know this is old but I might have found a fix (temporary one). In my case, i am using a monitor with AMD freesync premium, when i turn it off the freesync the game did not have any screen tearing at all.
