Speed! Challenge = Pure Madness?!
So in this challenge #22, I made it into the The Depths II despite encountering literary only and all new alternate floors thanks to flying on the first floor, Chocolate Milk and Ipecac along with many heart drops... though the timer nearly hit 0, it did not because I died due to making unnecessary haste since the premise is not to only beat the Foot but the Heart as well.

Previous attempts did not get me past the basement or the nighmarish version: The Cellar (damn spiders). I suppose that's

I was already wondering how to make through the challenge without the time limit I did not saw before since some enemies became quite unfair and now I'm really tempted to claim that it is neigh to impossible unless one is super lucky, maybe one has to be even more lucky than getting Real Platinum God (considering certain requirements).

I noticed however that maybe more special items poped up, it might be a coincidence but I sure hope it is not because otherwise this is seriously mean. For now I'll look at the other new content and maybe even do that last, if at all (but well, the DLC is still new so maybe some useful hints pop up).

btw when the timer hits 0 one loses a half heart each 10s... not that great but I guess it is better than an instant death.

Reroll for Ipecac. Ignore cumbersome rooms.

Wow, yeah - that was REALLY hard. Failed a good eight runs (counting the first time I had no idea there was a timer, or why I was dying suddenly) before I found a lucky combo. Dr. Fetus + Homing Bombs + X-Ray Vision + Compass = Flight = Bomb Those Doors and Enemies and Runnnn.

Like most hurdles in this game, it's all about finding an item combination that works.

Well, I actually found out that even just one item can be the blessing: Holy Mantel. One just needs some damages up then before the timer hits 0 and with it one just has to clear or skip a room within about 20 seconds and leave it to restore the effect.

The Mantel is removed every ten seconds so one should know how to time it right for max buffer: Leave a cleared room the way you came in, enter it again and wait at the door you want to go through as soon as the effect wears off. If you bomb your way through, you might like to wait for the Mantel to wear off if not pressed before leaving as well in the case you get hit in the next room so that the timer may not reach a ten.

I still think that one should at least get the D6 because it took me more than just eight failed runs where I actually got rather unlucky and a good combination did not help.
