Issues Streaming?

Well rather.. Not able to stream it?

I was gifted this game to stream the "afterbirth" part of it, but when getting it into xsplit (or even obs) its stuck on a still frame and won't change.

I've tried disabling vsync, changing camera view, keeping all in windowed mode. (I don't play in fullscreen anyways)

The game doesn't lag for me, never has really, and it isn't about lag. The audio comes through just fine, it's just visually, it just has this stuck image.

I've searched and come up with nothing.

Can anyone give any tips or help that might help me out? Anything I look up gives me dead ends.

For OBS, Window Capture won't work. You'll have to use Game Capture. If it slows the game down, you'll have to change the options.ini configuration file in C:\Users\UserName Here\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Rebirth. Turn off VSync by setting it to 0, and PauseFocusLoss to 0. Save it and restart your PC to let the game take effect for it to be streamed at a possible smooth framerate of 60. That's what I did when I experienced slowdown while using Game Capture for it on OBS. Hopefully this should work for you.

What about with xsplit? I'm actually one of those casters who has an issue with OBS at times, and rather not use it. That and for anyone out there who might want to know :) Seems anywhere I've looked, this is an unclear and unanswered thing. May as well get this known, right? :D

And yes I've already changed Vsync to 0 but didn't see any PauseFocusLoss choice. I'll go adjust that right now.

And just a side compliment, dang, 60 framerate? I barely get 30 on anything, jelly of your pc! *tips hat* :) Well to cast, but i don't mind it.

As for XSplit, I have tested it. Game Capture Autodetect worked on BoI Rebirth.
(for me, I'm stuck with Free Edition limited features when I capture the game's screen at only 30FPS.) I'm more of an OBS person myself.

Oh well that's an issue then. No matter what I've clicked or done, that auto detect just will not work. And i've followed the directions to the letter. Guess I am stuck on xsplit. And I actually prefer it. OBS actually spikes my cpu up off the charts, where as xsplit does not (Yeah i have a computer that does the opposite than other casters, so i've heard) XD

However, I have found, I think, a temporary solution, although I do not like this?

If I right click on the screen capture of the game, in the "screen" tab, there is this box that says "exclusive window capture".. I accidentally unclicked it and suddenly the game came to life...

I've never had that experience with any game , nor with anything captured that it would "unlock" like this. Not with any program used or tested...

I don't know whether to be embarassed that i figured out the issue myself, or frustrated that this isn't anywhere in search on google.. But at least its now out here in case anyone else has this issue in the future.
