Cain vs Issac

I'm trying to unlock the lost, and as such I'm farming shops for moms box and/or sack head to help me get the missing poster. Which character would work out better? Cain has a key to open shops, and luck foot for more consumables, but Isaac can reroll the shop or the item room, and has an extra heart. Who should I use?

Yes he does have the paper clip, which means free golden chests

Try to farm for a cracked dice and iv bag, then start reroll everything in the same room till you get the poster

Also, you may want to try for Mom's Box, from the shop. It lets you activate it to get a trinket every four ticks of charge. (It also doubles the effect of any trinket held while you carry the box, but that doesn't matter for the unlock quest.) If that's your approach, maybe Azazel to get the money fast and clear rooms fast / get batteries.

I got it by reseting runs with Eden in order to get Mom's box/Missing poster right from the start.
