About Friendly Ball
So I've been playing around with the friendly ball item through a seed i found, and it's really fun and all, but i'd like to know if there is any possibility in some small changes to maybe the AI of some of the enemies.

I understand that this item might be one of the more difficult to program compared to a simple damage up, but there are a few things that might make it a little more 'useable' in a run that wants to beat the game rather than make use of an item that might not help too much compared to book of belial or the D6.

Some general things i noticed are that alot of the enemies that would keep distance or wander, are REALLY aggressive, namely the drowned hives, the time i used it he seemed alot more like a globin than a hive, same with bonies.

Enemies that have homing shots don't have their shots home in on enemies and instead they still home in on you, which makes those enemies far worse to catch than any enemy with regular shots, speaking of enemy shots, i like that the shots from enemies travel through you, but they don't travel through other caught enemies.

While i'd like to see a few changes to the AI of caught enemies (and maybe even basic charmed enemies), i love the update and one item having a few issues (while it being a really cool item) doesn't hurt to have in the game among all the others, if these things can't be fixed, it's fine, but i'd love to see the friendly ball become a top tier item among others due to it's unique effects.

Ideas: I noticed it's easy to forget whether you have something in the ball or not (especially if you backtrack) maybe there could be a seperate image to see if it has something, either the enemy itself or just have the image of the ball open if it's empty.

This one is a bit of a stretch among other suggestions, but what IF, you COULD catch a boss, but after you release it, the ball breaks, of course bosses like mom and moms heart would still be immune, but monstro and famine among the others would just break it after they are released, if it's still too powerful you could make it so they don't drop their items when you catch them, maybe pair it with the image idea to have it look like it's cracking? I don't know.

Anyways, great game, amazing update, and really fun item, i love what's been added and i can't wait to see what else might get added to the game. :)

I'd like to be able to capture bosses when at low health, and come out full health. Then I'd me able to take control over that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ krampus. But then again, krampus is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ version and more hated by me version of the fallen, and he doesn't split to two smaller versions.

+1 and if we're honest, can we have all the AI be given a swift kick in the balls? bumbo seems to just stand in one spot for no reason any/everytime there's more than one coin on the ground, kinda makes having these followers pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless when all their ai will do is just go "i'm helping hurrr" and stare at you now having to carry it through the game too.

if you capture a champion with the friendly ball they are permanent until/unless death, not sure if it's been changed since but that might be why even though it looks like a normal mob.


also, i'd like to add i think the ball indicating whether it's empty or full would be a bit too easy, it's not that long of a charge time so unless you're prone to waiting to toss them out for 6+ rooms at a time after catching an enemy you really should never have problems with capturing too many.

They are permanet until death. The issue is that they die quite easy. This is why I was holding friendly ball until I found a really good one. I even capured the giant Blob in that run (or what ever his name is), but he died to freaking brimstone from Bloat :(
