is Tech X ♥♥♥♥ or am i an idiot?

so i got Tech X recently, and it was really weird.
i could only shoot the little rings on random, 9/10 times i tried using the arrow keys without charging(chocklet milk style) it would just not do anything.

it is kinda poopy all by itself yeah and you have to charge each shot is why it was not firing.

Tech X is one of the best items. It's a charge item, the longer you charge it the bigger the rings.

i know that. i have used it before, and i always shot the little rings as they do more demage(or at least the hitbox on them is better)
but for some reason i could only do it 1/10 times, and even if i charged only for a mila secont, it would still shoot the giant ring.

Pro Tip : don't take Tech X with Proptosis

Pro Tip 2 : Learn To use the smaller shots too since after my knowledge ths size doesn't matter (no pun intendet) for the damage it does. The smaller shot's are good for corder's Since the big shots can't reach corners of rooms because of the Circle form.

I used tech X in several of my winner runs and in the lost run against hush. Give it some damage items and items that have sync with it and learn to fire the small balls first. Took me a while to learn that item myself. Loved the item when I got the combo of tech x, monstros lung and finally Godhead. Everything met their judgement.

Thats what i was trying to figure out.
i fired the smaller shots all the time the first few runs i had it
but i just couldn't seem to be able to do it, it was really weird, its like only when i moved in the direction i wanted to fire, i could fire a small shot. and it was super random too, like i could spam the arrow keys a bunch, then i shot 6 of them in like 2 seconds, but then it stops even though i was still pressing it.

Tech X is a run carrying item. No question.

It's not like Chocolate Milk. You can't fire as quickly as you mash the button unless you have serious tears up.

Also, shot speed down items are great with Tech X.

Tech X is amazing, easily my favorite and the one of the most powerful in Afterbirth. Sounds like you just need more practice with it. Get some damage up and homing and it's god-tier

ive used it before to good resaults.

eh, i agree it's insanely good once you buff it up a little, out of the box naw though. :)

They nerfed the F*** out of it got rid of any usefullness, etc. and the devs decided oh we had a great item that is rare in the item room Let's nerf the s*** out of it for "reasons"
