I have another trick. When you are dying, hold R, it will save your current win streak.

That's neat, though still waiting for some confirmation about the alt+f4 trick. I made it to Hush as the Lost, and would like to know if it's still possible. Or if the timing for alt+f4 has changed.

You'd have to time it to right before you get hit. It doesn't work like it did anymore. If you die, even if the death screen hasn't shown up yet, you can't continue after using alt+f4.

Short answer: No.
