Also, the leviathan transformation is just hp and flight, not a damage up.
In terms of how to reach the hush floor its like the boss rush, but this time you have to kill it lives, in 30:00 or less. Now that you have beaten him next time you kill him you can continue your run on to sheol or cathedral, rather than the game ending
I also notice if I take a five minute break, then fight him, I can dodge over the long run much better than if I'd just run in, my nerves burnt from two Womb floors. For some reason, the Womb is sometimes more difficult for me than Chest, Sheol or Cathedral. Not sure why.
Leviathan's power comes from the items you pick up. You only had Tears up and flying to help you while Guppy gives you flight AND a fly on every single hit.
Guppy is better than Leviathan.
EDIT: Oh, also it's kinda hard to follow when you mess up half of the items' names.
Eyes on your character not on Hush
That super hard strategy caused me to beat Hush as Lost by only getting hit once (Holy Mantle)
I know, it's fun to be excited about beating hush for the first time, i just beat him for the first time as The Lost, and almost did it as the keeper and was ready to smash my computer because I would have only had to hit him one more time but I died.
I don't really understand how his health works either. people said it scales with your attack power, so if this is the case, you want something that shoots as many tears as possible as quickly as possible.
however, many people think this means that soymilk is the best item to fight hush with...but no, that just does too little damage. I love the concept of soymilk but i've never managed to beat a run with it because of the damage penalty even with tons of damage ups i still can't overcome it.
the exception is finding libra. libra balances out the stats and takes the massive fire rate increase and resdistributes it among your other stats. very powerful
someone said that Hush's health does not scale, it stays the same and instead his damage resistance adjusts to match your attack power...which sounds kind of lame to me because then it doesn't really matter what your stats are. I brought spider mod to the fight with me and the damage numbers were the same as when I hit every other enemy. I saw no damage reduction, but I dunno, maybe it doesn't show it? I mean it shows the full damage even when i hit creatures immune to damage , like hosts. so maybe the way it works is the hosts get like 100% damage resistance when they are down but the spider mod still reports the full damage to you.
however, I do believe it is still in your best interest to be as OP as possible because the little flies and blue guys do not scale with your power, so you need enough power to destroy those guys quickly.
killing the hush while getting hit only 4 times is impressive...but as the lost or the keeper, you die in 2 hits, so you can only afford to get hit once and survive and if the lost doesn't have his holy mantle you can't even get hit that one time.
and you can not compare hush's bullet hell to It Lives. It Lives is like..."Baby's First Bullet Hell", while Hush is ..."If Michael Bay Made A Godzilla Movie"
Step 2: Something that does damage for you like meat boy, daddy long legs, etc.
Step 3: Afk for that boring ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss.
