Eden is random, it can be the worst or the best depending on RNG.

I suppose the argument is that when you pick Eden, you *could* end up with complete garbage. And if you DO, you've wasted a token!
I love playing as Eden, but it's just the worst when the RNG screws you over, like, five times in a row.

To be fair it is possible to beat the game with just about any starting items... if you have never watched one of the good streamers get a win streak with lost/eden you should check it out.

also another thing that i hate about him is that you can't hold down R to just restart if you get a ♥♥♥♥ run NO you need to Exit to the menu and then go to start new run i hate that

i know that they do it im watching the Northernlion Live Super Show right now on Twitch and they basiclly have the two best players on that show the main host Northernlion and they've got Cobalt Streak

yeah but the other ones for example Richard Hammer aren't even funny and he is amazing at the game and he's a great comedian ( the same goes to Cobalt he's super funny )

I don't know I love this character. Right now playing him on streak, had 21 streak in rebirth with eden which is pretty bad

Eden is not bad, I had a 65 game win streak with him. I can't stand Maggy though. I'd rather play keeper.

Pretty much that. =P I enjoy Eden quite a bit for the most part. Rarely you get awful, awful ones where your tears are super slow and do no damage and it is pretty annoying, but usually you at least get an average sort of character even if you end up with crappy items.

Same i once started with eden and he had guppys paw,guppys collar so i went to the curse room
and there it was 9 lives :p and i have to agree maggy is really awful sometimes.
