D8? D5? D20?

whatever. but D4 isnt a great idea, you know. Most people wont do gamble with this precious Holy mantle.

Here's an idea: Why don't you wait for a really challenging fight (Hush, Mega Satan, etc.) and after your holy mantle shield gets hit, you reroll. If your run wasn't too good, it might win you the run.
