What exactly IS Hush/The Blue Womb?

BTW, I know what the boss fight is and how it works, I've already killed him a bunch. I'm wondering what exactly IS Hush.

When you beat Mom's Heart / It Lives in under 30 minutes you get an optional entrance to the Blue Womb level (similar to Boss Rush door but blue) where it'll take you down to a level that contains 2 item rooms, 1 shop, 4 chests and a very tanky boss. Upon completion you continue either to Shoel or to the Cathedral.

I think they mean what is Hush, not how to get to them.

Hush/Blue Womb is probably a corpse's... uh... business.
Mom's womb and scared womb are living insides of a living being.
Perhaps, much like ???, this person died of asphixiation and has turned blue.

Hush is essentially what happens when you kill It Lives, It Lives is Isaac as a fetus and hush is what happens when he dies in the womb. The term for this is stillbirth.
