The lost greed mode help?

Can anyone give me a few pointers with how to play as the lost on greed mode. I have rpg so have beat the other bosses, but i rarely get past the first floor on greed mode. What items should i look for, should i press the button often? Cheers for any help.

How i did it
1- R
2- Go to the shop and if there is a key there, grab it. If there is no key =>R
3- Grab 2 items, in both rooms.
4- If those 2 items are any good, go for it. (holy mantle, poly, tech x, e fetus, etc.) If not - Reroll. If rerolled items are not good too => R

p.s. Holy mantle achievement for the lost will help. A pity i found it only after i beat greed with the lost.

Erwit? There's always a key in the greed shop. It's on the far left. Always.

Once you've unlocked holy mantle for the lost, tech x makes a superb weapon to clear crowds.
Chaos shows up in the shop frequently, which makes it easy to simply buy dead cat as opposed to trying to get it on a devil deal.

Use the rocks tears won't be able to hit you, but still be careful of flies.

you can press the button without taking damage so you never have to fight more than one wave at once

i did it by breaking the game with the d20 it makes it a lot easier
