Dead Cat during Greed run

Today during a greed run I was in the 8th wave or something like this when I died. When I respawn with the dead cat I was back in the frist wave. Is it normal or is it a bug ?

It's normal. You have to "restart the room" when you die. Which means, you have to start from the first wave again.

ok I think that's boring since it was with the Lost and it is already hard enough to finnish a run with this character

So you want to die and then to magically have half the floor done already? It's always been this way, for every single character. If you leave the room or die (which counts as leaving the room except when it's with Lazarus' Rags), you have to do the room all over again.

In fact it won't be magical because I already finnish the previous wave before dying. And I never use this item so pretty hard to guess such a thing.... But now I know. :) and I think that's waht matter learn from every death
