Is room switching intended?
As an avid isaac player/youtube watcher I have never seen curse of the maze actually switch the position of room. I was on the chest and had opened all 4 chest and wanted to get a reroll so I did the 2 rooms to the right. first was 2 super gluttonys and they dropped lard which I didnt want. Next room was 2 super lust and they dropped yum heart, I had a reroll now and went back to the start with curse of the maze triggering twice on the yum heart room so I had to repeat it twice. When I went back into the room with mega satan door it had yum heart sitting in there and the 4 item pedestals were 2 rooms to the right. Lard and those 2 rooms continued to move around as I did the floor. Would like to emphasize that yum heart was in the starting room with the mega satan door and curse of the maze did not put me into a different room.

Yes, room switching is intended when you have curse of the maze. It happens every once in a while, those your case seems pretty nutty.

That's what curse of the maze does...

I was always under the impression that curse of the maze moves you to a different room, not actually move different rooms to different places. I mean bucket of lard ended up in the room next to blue baby and I was fighting enemies back in the spawn room

Welp isaac wiki says its normal, I felt like I was going crazy xD oh well its a very nice touch to the game. Can't believe I haven't noticed it before.

Think that's weird? I've had Curse of The Maze dump me over a bottomless pit.

Thankfully there's a failsafe where if you just move it teleports you to an approapriate entrance to the room.
