Big gold room? Heaven's gate? wtf is this?

what is this? i cleared all this level (includes lamb), but gate still closed. i think i can open it with dad's key only :(

Its the gate to the final bosse's room. you can also open it by bombing 2 angel statues in angel rooms in one run.

Another way is to get the item *Dads key* it opens any door and have a charge. the boss in there is optional and is rather hard if you run on low-ish damage or low health.

Its the door to Mega Satan, the only unlock (right now) you can get is the final ending, but in afterbirth you will get unlocks for it.

why would you ever want to fight mega satan (unless you have brimstone and tammys head bmg)

for now theres no real reason besides gettin the last ending

in afterbirth he will give you drops when you kill him (and i think hes the only way to the new levs)

Because it's a fun, good fight. I fight him whenever I have the opportunity. Which is rare because I just can't resist all those devil deals...

well you need to get it for some achievements, but nothing more
