Hard Mode

Do I unlock anything after completing boss rush on HARD MODE for each character? I know I unlock stuff if you beat It lives/mom's heart on hard mode but idk about boss rush.

I also don't know if you unlock anything after you beat the chest or dark room with each character on HARD. So any answers will be appreciated!

Bump. Earlier when I read the wiki and posts it was implied that the only things that needed to be beaten on hard were Mom's Heart for each character and then all unlock bosses (Boss Rush, Mom's Heart, Satan, Isaac, The Lamb, and ???) all on hard with the lost to get the Godhead.

But I noticed that when hovering over each character in the New Run screen, the post-it note in the top left shows what you've completed with them and only shows up red if it was done on hard, kinda implying that not doing it on hard might not be fully completed.

I don't believe doing HM Boss Rush unlocks anything on its own (aside from the Lost. All his unlocks are Hard Mode), but you do need to do HM Boss Rush minus the Lost for Platinum God (and consequently, Real Platinum God).

Ohh. So to get Platinum God you need to beat everything (boss rush, it lives, dark room, chest) with each character?

Wait, so does that mean you need to do Hard Mode everything with everybody to get both Platinum God's?

On the wiki, all it says is that you need to "Collect all items in the game, unlock all of the secrets and Endings minus The Lost and his 7 unlockable items" for Platinum God, and "Collect every Item and unlock every ending" for The Real Platinum God.

You don't need to do anything on Hard Mode except Mom's Heart and The Lost's stuff to fulfill those requirements.

Unless that's just the wiki being wrong or very misleading again, which it often is it seems...

Platinum God is beat everything on hard mode (except the Lost's stuff), do all challenges, get all endings, make a lvl 4 meat boy and bandage girl, and pick up all items (except for the Lost's unlocks) at least once (if you spawn with them as Eden, it counts).

EDIT: RPG definitely requires all unlocks on Hard Mode since Godhead requires it to unlock, and from what I remember, I'm pretty sure regular PG reqs hard mode stuff (usually people have it done before they get stuff like Meat Boy and Bandage Girl completed, so it's typically moot).

Wait so Platinum God requires you to beat everything on hard mode with all characters? Cause the only unlocks you get from hard mode are by beating It Lives with each character.

The ONLY things RPG requires you to do on hard mode are:
-Mom's Heart with all characters
-Mom's Heart, Boss Rush, Isaac, ???, Satan and The Lamb with The Lost.
