SACRIFICE ROOMS ARE USELESS!!!!!!

they literally serve no purpose you can give up 5 hearts to get a gray chest, wooooo or more often than not you get nothing and no health left, sacrifice rooms are pointless at least give them an item drop or something.

If you get down to half a red heart, they are guaranteed to pay out with a chest (they only pay out once). This strategy is basically only viable on the first floor. I agree with your sentiment. They have been bad in the original and they remained terrible in the remake. Some changes to them for the upcoming DLC Afterbirth were announced, so we will see. For now they remain not viable for most situations.

I concur. The price is way too high. At least make it spawn 1 chest each 1-2 hearts sacrificed!

i disagree,you risk part of your health for a 50/50 chance of something good,you need to get in IF you are prepared,if you aren't then its your fault

plus if you have Flight you only risk half a hear(1 heart if you are in the womb and above)
Guppy items are worth the health loss,goat head is just a help

but you sir,if you want to complain and ♥♥♥♥♥ about a room that is compleatly optional dont go to that room and lose your chance for a decent item
