How to get Wait What?

Wait what is the last object I need to grab to finish the game. I beat all the bosses.
I tried to restart the game over and over with tainted Isaac until I have a treasure room next to the starting room and check if the butter bean is there, taking it to see if it's wait what but after two hours I found only 2 butter beans that were just butter beans.
Is there a faster way ?

I know that the trick to exchange the butter bean with another active item until it turns to wait what does not work anymore in repentance

The only other option I can think of is Eden, since they can get pretty much any item at the start of the run (except for a few, but Wait What? isn't on that list according to the wiki).

You can try using the 'M trinket until you reroll into it.

Just tested this trinket, it can indeed give Wait What?.

I was afraid rerolls would be tied to the item pools (since Wait What? itself is in no item pool whatsoever), but I got it after a bunch of rerolls (thanks debug console for the infinite charges command).

I wonder if I can get it through Tainted Cain by crafting the butter bean which can be changed into wait what?

I got it by spindonwing crooked penny lol
