Keeper not working

I just unlocked keeper and whenever I kill an enemy nothing happens isn't it supposed to drop a coin? also all the items in the game for him don't cost coins.

gotta get tainted version. normal keeper just shoots coins and has coin health.

I meant whenever I kill a enemy as keeper the enemy doesn't drop coins like he's keeper but hes playing as issac

pedestals also don't have a cost to them

Tainted keeper is the only character that requires you buy all items and enemys drop coins. I would look up a guide on how to unlock the tainted versions of all the characters. It requires bringing any red room item to isaacs home and opening a red room there. Expect all of the other characters to be different than the tainted counterparts. For instance tainted lost has no holy mantle, tainted lilith has a new combat mechanic altogether, tainted isaac can only hold 8 items, and lastly tainted keeper can only buy items and all enemys drop coins.
