Do you use Unintrusive Pause Menu mod by any chance?
This mod is broken on Repentance Plus and crashes the game whenever you pause it.

if it's crashing because of mods then it's not a bug. completion mark checklist isn't compatible with rep+ and could be a cause, otherwise if it's not that just disable mods and see if it works.
